About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain outdoor fiber optic infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to schedule and execute network deployments, including route surveys and cable pulling.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation on OSP equipment, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed installation reports, as‑built drawings, and network documentation for internal use and customer handover.
- Assist in the development and refinement of installation procedures, best practices, and training materials.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of fiber optic cabling, splicing, and testing equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on quality and safety.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites and work flexible hours as needed.
