About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain optical network infrastructure and Layer 2/3 routing solutions for large-scale data centers.
- Configure and troubleshoot Unix/Linux systems, writing scripts and automation to support network operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new services, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting of IP and optical network issues, documenting findings and solutions.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with optical network infrastructure and IP routing.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles applied to network operations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
