Software Engineer
Provide Level 1/2 technical support for network and desktop environments, maintain Cisco/Juniper infrastructure, and ensure IT service uptime in a fast‑paced NOC setting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting for network, desktop, and system issues.
- Maintain and monitor Cisco and Juniper network devices, applying best‑practice configurations.
- Support Windows workstations, printers, and related peripherals, ensuring end‑user productivity.
- Handle technical escalations, collaborating with senior engineers to resolve complex incidents.
- Document configurations, incidents, and resolution steps in the ticketing system.
- Work closely with team members to achieve high availability and performance of the IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification with a strong interest in IT support.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or similar IT support role.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment; CCNA or JNCIA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows OS desktop support and printer troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
