Devops Engineer
Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, high‑performance network and cloud environments, leveraging Linux, AWS/GCP, automation, and monitoring tools to support maritime technology operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise‑grade network and infrastructure solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Configure and maintain Linux servers, network devices, and security appliances, ensuring high availability and resilience.
- Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and reduce errors.
- Implement and monitor security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and compliance frameworks.
- Use monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to proactively detect and resolve performance and security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support maritime data analytics, IoT devices, and mission‑critical applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on Linux and cloud platforms.
- Proficient in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and security best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment.
