Network Analyst III responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, leveraging Cisco technologies, network monitoring tools, and scripting to ensure high‑availability and secure connectivity across multiple sites.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Cisco routing and switching solutions to support corporate and field operations.
- Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar, and proactively resolve incidents.
- Analyze traffic flows, troubleshoot TCP/IP issues, and perform packet captures with Wireshark to diagnose complex problems.
- Implement and manage VPN, firewall, and other security mechanisms to protect data in transit.
- Develop automation scripts (e.g., Python) for routine tasks, configuration backups, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support remote sites, coordinate upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Cisco networking equipment and enterprise‑level network design.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and packet analysis using Wireshark.
- Experience scripting in Python or similar language for automation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
