Senior .NET Software Developer to design, develop, and support ASP.NET, VB.NET, and C# applications for a government client, delivering robust, secure solutions in a cloud‑enabled environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET web applications using VB.NET and C# in a VSSM program environment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define functional requirements and translate them into scalable code.
- Implement database solutions, write efficient SQL queries, and manage data integrity across Azure services.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development with strong proficiency in ASP.NET, VB.NET, and C#.
- Solid understanding of relational database design, SQL, and experience with Azure SQL Database.
- Experience with modern CI/CD practices, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of government contracting standards and security best practices is a plus.
