We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer II to join our team.
In this role, you learn and apply professional engineering concepts. Work is reviewed periodically, and you typically receive general instruction on new assignments, while steadily increasing ownership and independence.
We are looking for a .NET Developer II who will:
Software Development Engineers design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and reliable software solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
Debugging & Troubleshooting: Debug and fix software issues under guidance; participate in root-cause analysis and implement preventive improvements over time
Agile Delivery: Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, estimation, and team design discussions; communicate progress, risks, and blockers early
Operational Support: Work with support/implementation teams to investigate and resolve application issues in lower environments and production as needed, following team runbooks and escalation paths
Collaboration & Growth: Collaborate with senior/lead engineers to learn best practices (code reviews, secure coding, performance considerations, and maintainability).
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of software development experience with C#/.NET
Strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript, Azure DevOps, SQL server database.
Hands-on experience with AI platforms.
Experience in one or more of the following (depending on CORE team stack):
o Backend: C#/.NET, building services and APIs
o Databases: MS SQL Server (or equivalent RDBMS), query tuning basics
o Web Services: REST APIs, JSON; familiarity with IIS/ASP.NET is a plus (where applicable)
Familiarity with modern engineering practices
o Version control (Git), code reviews, CI/CD concepts
o Unit testing frameworks and test-driven habits
o Agile/Scrum working model
Nice to have (CORE-friendly): cloud exposure (Azure/AWS), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), observability basics (logs/metrics/traces), performance tuning, AI tools experience like Cursor AI
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
