Software Engineer
Lead naval architecture projects, designing and optimizing ship structures using advanced CAD, CFD, and hydrodynamic analysis to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine ship design concepts, integrating structural, hydrodynamic, and propulsion considerations.
- Utilize CAD and CFD tools to model vessel performance, conduct stability and resistance analyses, and validate design solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with international classification societies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Lead design reviews, troubleshoot engineering challenges, and implement innovative solutions to enhance vessel efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in ship design, structural analysis, and CFD modeling.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
