Systems Engineer
Provides on‑site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and upgrades for laboratory instruments, delivering technical support and troubleshooting at the board or sub‑assembly level across a national territory.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on laboratory instruments in customer facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve electro‑mechanical and software issues down to the board or sub‑assembly level.
- Communicate professionally with customers to schedule service, report status, and provide technical guidance.
- Execute field actions, equipment removals, and calibrations according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in biomedical, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in field service or instrumentation maintenance, including troubleshooting complex hardware and software.
- Strong knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems, calibration procedures, and preventive maintenance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently across a national territory.
- Willingness to travel frequently and respond to urgent service calls.
