Model-Based Systems Engineer
JRC is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to join its Strategic Defense & International Operations (SDIO) team. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-fidelity SysML architecture models, drive MBSE standardization, and support testing across various environments to shape the next generation of Joint Battle Management and Joint Defense Planning capabilities.
At JRC, we tackle some of the toughest challenges faced by the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies. Our expertise in engineering innovation and semiconductor technologies allows us to deliver mission-critical microelectronics solutions, aerospace systems engineering, and cutting-edge research and development. By joining JRC, you’ll be part of a team that supports strategic deterrence and defense missions, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the United States and its allies.
JRC’s SDIO team is growing, and we’re looking for a sharp, mission‑driven Model‑Based Systems Engineer to help shape the next generation of Joint Battle Management and Joint Defense Planning capabilities. If you thrive at the intersection of systems architecture, advanced modeling, and real‑world test environments, this role puts you right where the decisions get made. You’ll work across the full test lifecycle — from unit‑level contractor testing to digital simulation, HWIL, exercises, and live range events — all in support of a high‑visibility software acquisition effort. This is a chance to influence architectures, guide system behavior, and ensure joint warfighters get the capabilities they need.
