Model Based Systems Engineer - Booz Allen Hamilton

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain model-based digital representations of products from concept through retirement.
• Integrate interdisciplinary data and models to support design, verification, and validation activities.
• Apply systems engineering analysis techniques to identify risks, trade-offs, and performance gaps.
• Provide expert advisory support to cross‑functional teams, translating technical findings into actionable recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project deliverables, ensuring high quality and adherence to industry standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering analysis and model-based design.
• Proficiency with modeling tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring or supervising team members is a plus.
