Administers and secures enterprise mobile devices, implements MDM solutions, and provides tier‑1/2 support for iOS, Android, and Windows platforms to ensure continuous, secure operations across a national‑defense data center.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (e.g., AirWatch, MobileIron) for iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
- Monitor device health, enforce security policies, and remediate compliance issues across a global enterprise.
- Provide tier‑1 and tier‑2 technical support for mobile users, troubleshooting connectivity, application, and hardware problems.
- Develop and execute PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to streamline provisioning, updates, and reporting.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to integrate mobile endpoints with firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Maintain documentation, create knowledge‑base articles, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing enterprise mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) in a large‑scale environment.
- Proficiency with MDM tools such as AirWatch, MobileIron, or Microsoft Intune.
- Strong scripting skills, preferably PowerShell, for automation and reporting.
- Solid understanding of network security concepts, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a mission‑critical setting.
