Software Engineer
Provide expert mobile device support for iOS and Android platforms, managing MDM solutions, troubleshooting network and security issues, and ensuring seamless device operation for users at MacDill AFB.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain iOS and Android mobile devices for end‑users.
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, including policy creation, device enrollment, and compliance monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and security issues across Windows, MacOS, and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce device security policies and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Provide end‑user training and documentation on device usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting iOS and Android devices in a military or enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with MDM platforms (e.g., VMware Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune) and mobile security protocols.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and network troubleshooting (Wi‑Fi, VPN, LTE).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train users of varying technical levels.
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one.
