Research Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end research on large‑scale foundation models for molecules and materials, blending deep generative AI, probabilistic reasoning, and physical simulation to create predictive, design‑ready atomistic models.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep generative and foundation model architectures tailored to atomistic data.
- Develop probabilistic reasoning frameworks that integrate physical laws with learned representations.
- Scale training pipelines to leverage massive datasets and high‑performance compute resources.
- Collaborate with physicists, chemists, and engineers to validate models against experimental and simulation benchmarks.
- Publish findings in top conferences and maintain open‑source codebases.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in machine learning, computational physics, or chemistry.
- Proven expertise in deep generative modeling, probabilistic inference, and large‑scale training.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with GPU/TPU clusters.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in interdisciplinary teams.
