Cloud Architect
Mid‑to‑senior Cloud Architect responsible for assessing, designing, and securing applications for deployment on a FedRAMP High‑authorized AWS GovCloud healthcare platform, supporting ISVs and government workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments of ISV and government applications to determine cloud compatibility and readiness.
- Design secure, scalable architectures on the DSS Health Cloud (AWS GovCloud) meeting FedRAMP High requirements.
- Develop migration and onboarding plans, including security validation, compliance checks, and performance optimization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning and deployment.
- Collaborate with security, operations, and development teams to resolve architectural issues and ensure continuous compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS, preferably within GovCloud or FedRAMP environments.
- Strong understanding of FedRAMP High security controls, IAM, encryption, and network segmentation.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) and modern cloud‑native patterns.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and guide ISVs through onboarding.
