Systems Engineer
Mid‑Level System Engineer to drive system trade studies, performance modeling, and interface design for a large DoD contract, ensuring rigorous requirements verification and documentation in a collaborative engineering environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct system trade studies and perform detailed analyses of alternatives to support design decisions.
- Develop and validate system performance models, ensuring alignment with DoD specifications.
- Design system interfaces and create functional models and decompositions for complex systems.
- Lead requirements verification and test activities, documenting results in Engineering Data SDRL.
- Participate in engineering technical reviews, providing expert input and feedback.
- Document all work and artifacts, maintaining clear and comprehensive records for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in system engineering, performance modeling, and interface design.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate alternatives and trade-offs.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Familiarity with DoD contracting processes and standards is a plus.
