Mid-level engineer responsible for advanced structural analysis of commercial airframe systems, utilizing FEA, ANSYS, and Python to evaluate stress, fatigue, and compliance with aerospace standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute finite element models for 787 airframe structural components using ANSYS and custom Python scripts.
- Perform stress, fatigue, and modal analyses to support design validation and certification.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve structural issues and optimize part performance.
- Document analysis procedures, results, and recommendations in clear technical reports.
- Maintain and update analysis databases, ensuring traceability and compliance with aerospace standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in structural analysis for aerospace or high‑integrity systems.
- Strong understanding of material behavior, fatigue, and failure criteria.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
