Lead a team developing military satellite communications ground systems, applying systems engineering, RF design, and software development (C++, MATLAB) within an Agile environment to deliver secure, reliable MILSATCOM solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, integration, and verification of MILSATCOM ground system components, ensuring compliance with mission requirements.
- Develop and validate RF architectures, signal processing algorithms, and software modules using C++ and MATLAB.
- Manage system requirements, traceability matrices, and configuration control throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, software, test, and mission operations) using Agile methodologies to meet schedule and performance targets.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of satellite systems experience.
- Proficiency in RF engineering, satellite communications protocols, and signal processing.
- Strong software development skills in C++ and MATLAB for modeling and simulation.
- Experience with systems engineering practices, requirements management, and configuration control.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and lead multidisciplinary teams.
