Devops Engineer
Mid‑level infrastructure engineer responsible for end‑to‑end management of endpoint security, device lifecycle, and cloud identity using Microsoft Intune and related tools in a remote, part‑time setting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and continuously improve the Microsoft Intune environment for Windows and macOS devices, including compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.
- Manage endpoint security posture across the organization, implementing threat protection, encryption, and remediation workflows.
- Oversee device lifecycle processes—provisioning, enrollment, configuration, and retirement—ensuring consistent standards and documentation.
- Maintain cloud identity services (e.g., Azure AD), handling user provisioning, role assignments, and access reviews.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell) to streamline routine tasks and reporting.
- Document configurations, procedures, and incident responses, and provide guidance to end users as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands‑on experience managing Microsoft Intune or comparable unified endpoint management platforms.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, device compliance, and mobile device management for Windows and macOS.
- Experience with cloud identity solutions such as Azure Active Directory, including SSO and conditional access.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and clearly document processes.
