Systems Engineer
Senior Microsoft System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Azure services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across enterprise infrastructures.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows Server infrastructures, including domain controllers, file services, and virtualization platforms such as VMware.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and related identity services to support enterprise security and compliance.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell scripting and configuration management tools.
- Plan and execute migrations to Azure, including hybrid connectivity, Azure AD integration, and cloud resource optimization.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and provide proactive support to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define architecture standards, security policies, and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft System Engineering and Windows Server administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation frameworks.
- Experience with Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
