Devops Engineer
Lead design, deployment, and optimization of Azure-based solutions, driving automation, security, and scalability for federal clients using DevOps practices and IaC tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Azure cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with federal security standards.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, applying proactive performance tuning and cost‑optimization strategies.
- Document architecture designs, operational procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and managing Azure cloud environments.
- Proficiency with Azure services (VMs, AKS, App Service, Azure AD, Key Vault) and IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash for automation.
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipeline creation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a federal‑government context.
