Designs, develops, and executes automated test systems for microelectronics components, validating digital, electro‑optical, and RF performance using Python, LabVIEW, and advanced test methodology.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test programs for microelectronics parts and assemblies using Python and LabVIEW.
- Design test fixtures and measurement setups to evaluate digital, electro‑optical, and RF performance.
- Analyze schematics and test data to troubleshoot failures and verify compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with design and reliability teams to define test requirements and improve test coverage.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings in clear technical reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field.
- Experience with automated test development and scripting (Python, LabVIEW).
- Strong understanding of RF measurement techniques and electro‑optical testing.
- Proficiency in schematic analysis and interpreting component datasheets.
- Ability to work a 3/12 shift schedule and communicate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
