Software Engineer
Lead development of software for CMM inspection platforms, data acquisition, and ERP integration, leveraging Python, C++, and C# to enhance manufacturing metrology workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection platforms and associated data collection systems.
- Integrate metrology data with ERP and other enterprise systems using SQL and web services.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to define requirements and optimize inspection processes.
- Debug, test, and document code, ensuring high reliability and performance in a production environment.
- Implement PLC and automation interfaces to support real‑time data capture and machine control.
Requirements
- Proven experience in C++, C#, and Python for industrial software development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases and data integration techniques.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and automation protocols.
- Experience with metrology tools such as CMMs and data acquisition hardware.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team.
