Mechanical Materials Test Engineer Level 5

We are seeking a Mechanical Materials Test Engineer Level 5 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing mechanical materials tests to ensure the quality and reliability of materials used in aerospace and defense applications. This includes developing and implementing test plans, conducting experiments, and analyzing data to determine material properties and behavior.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science, mechanical testing, and finite element analysis. Experience with Python programming and AWS is also highly desirable. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical materials tests to ensure the quality and reliability of materials used in aerospace and defense applications.
• Develop and implement test plans, conduct experiments, and analyze data to determine material properties and behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test plans align with project requirements.
• Analyze and interpret test data to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical materials testing, with a focus on aerospace and defense applications.
• Strong background in materials science, mechanical testing, and finite element analysis.
• Experience with Python programming and AWS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
