About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of HVAC and mechanical systems for transportation buildings, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Utilize CFD simulations to optimize airflow, thermal performance, and energy consumption across large-scale facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical solutions into BIM models, supporting coordination and clash detection.
- Prepare detailed design documents, calculations, and specifications for procurement and construction phases.
- Conduct site inspections, performance testing, and commissioning to validate system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in HVAC design for transportation or large commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in CFD, BIM, and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, ANSYS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and sustainable design practices.
