About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for electroplating and industrial coating processes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Design, evaluate, and improve plating plant equipment and process systems, incorporating best practices in mechanical design and materials selection.
- Lead automation initiatives to enhance throughput, reduce variability, and increase reliability across the production line.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new equipment, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to minimise downtime.
- Implement continuous improvement projects, applying lean and Six Sigma principles to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience in electroplating or industrial coating plant design and optimisation.
- Strong knowledge of process control, automation, and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
