About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components for unmanned vehicle systems using CAD and simulation tools.
- Perform FEA and CFD analyses to validate structural integrity and aerodynamic performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prototype, test, and iterate designs, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and change orders for production readiness.
- Support manufacturing and supply chain activities, including tooling design and process optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Experience with FEA, CFD, and manufacturing processes for aerospace or defence applications.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
