Software Engineer
Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems using CAD, SolidWorks, and FEA tools, while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative product solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and drawings using CAD and SolidWorks for new product concepts and existing product enhancements.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and optimize component performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing, to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Lead prototype development, including 3D printing and rapid tooling, and conduct functional testing to verify design intent.
- Document design changes, maintain version control, and produce technical reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Experience with rapid prototyping techniques such as 3D printing and CNC machining.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
