Software Engineer
Mechanical Engineer responsible for delivering capital and expense projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring safety, reliability, and performance of assets using CAD, project management, and analysis tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of capital and expense projects across plant and field assets.
- Produce and review detailed mechanical drawings and models using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Perform stress, fatigue, and finite element analyses to validate design integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and field teams to integrate engineering solutions that enhance safety, reliability, and performance.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and project delivery within an industrial or energy environment.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis software (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
- Strong understanding of reliability, safety standards, and asset performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary groups.
