Software Engineer
Mechanical Engineer focused on lift and elevator design, installation, and maintenance, leveraging CAD, FEA, and project management skills to deliver projects safely and in line with Australian Standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering design and planning of lift and elevating system installations across diverse projects.
- Develop detailed CAD models and perform FEA analyses to ensure structural integrity and compliance with Australian Standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule installations, procure materials, and manage project timelines.
- Oversee on‑site installation, commissioning, and testing, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met.
- Provide technical support for maintenance and troubleshooting of existing lift systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in lift/elevator design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong proficiency in CAD and FEA software.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and safety regulations for lift systems.
