Mechanical Engineer driving design, analysis, and manufacturing solutions for defence and energy sectors using CAD, FEA, CFD, and advanced materials expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Perform detailed engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD simulations, to validate performance, durability, and safety of designs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, material selection, and cost‑effective production strategies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and quality assurance procedures throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support prototype fabrication, testing, and iterative improvement, providing technical guidance to manufacturing and quality teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience with CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials science, and quality management systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary environment.
