About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thermodynamic, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics calculations to support power plant design and optimization.
- Prepare technical reports, evaluations, and equipment sizing analyses for client recommendations.
- Collaborate with project teams to design, modify, and analyze mechanical systems within nuclear power plants.
- Conduct optimization studies and equipment selection to improve plant performance and reliability.
- Travel to client and vendor sites for design reviews, plant visits, and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
- Experience with power plant mechanical systems and equipment sizing.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project engagements.
