Software Engineer
Hands‑on mechanical and robotics technician needed for 2nd shift, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading automated systems using PLCs and CAD tools while ensuring safety and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and robotic equipment to ensure optimal uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues using diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical manuals to support repairs and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements and new automation solutions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, part inventories, and safety documentation in accordance with company standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or robotics preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or robotics support in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
