About the role
As a Materials Engineer in our McKinney Failure Analysis Lab, you will be part of a team that applies expertise in materials science and failure analysis to drive innovation and solve complex problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new materials and testing methods, and collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new materials and testing methods to improve product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause analysis to identify and resolve material-related issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, presentations, and technical papers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in materials science and failure analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in materials engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of materials science and failure analysis principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
