About the role
As a Materials Engineer I, you will be responsible for the design and development of materials for various applications. This will involve the use of computational modeling and simulation tools to predict and analyze material behavior. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that materials meet the required specifications and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in materials science and experience with finite element analysis and materials characterization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop materials for various applications, including aerospace and defense.
- Utilize computational modeling and simulation tools to predict and analyze material behavior.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that materials meet the required specifications and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Materials Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in materials engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundation in materials science, including properties and behavior of various materials.
- Experience with finite element analysis and materials characterization.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
