Software Engineer
Responsible for maintaining and improving material compliance master data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with global regulations such as REACH and RoHS, while supporting product lifecycle and data governance processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, cleanse, and continuously improve material compliance master data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Validate product and material master records against regulatory requirements including REACH, RoHS, POPs, GADSL, and SCIP.
- Create, update, and manage material objects and part numbers within SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to resolve data discrepancies and support compliance audits.
- Develop and document data governance procedures and best practices for material compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SAP Material Master or similar ERP data management tools.
- Strong knowledge of international environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, POPs, GADSL, SCIP).
- Excellent data analysis and cleansing skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Detail‑oriented mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally in a global environment.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
