Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation and governance of master data across Global Diagnostics Procurement, ensuring data quality, compliance and actionable insights using SAP and SQL.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the master data strategy for the Global Diagnostics Procurement organization.
- Maintain and improve master data structures in SAP, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
- Establish data governance policies, standards and processes, and drive their adoption across cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
- Monitor data quality metrics, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to users on master data best practices and tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in master data management, data governance or related data stewardship roles.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with SAP master data modules and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proven ability to design data models, define data standards and improve data quality.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with experience working in a global, cross‑functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in data management is a plus.
