Data Analyst
Analyze market trends and student data to inform strategic decisions, using Python, SQL and Tableau to produce actionable insights and visual reports for the Marketing & Communications department.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and integrate internal and external data sources to support market research and enrollment forecasting.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modelling to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualisations in Tableau to communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
- Produce regular reports and ad‑hoc analyses that guide marketing campaigns, recruitment strategies, and student experience initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business questions into data‑driven solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within higher education or marketing environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Expertise in Tableau or similar visualisation tools, with a portfolio of dashboards.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and ability to apply them to real‑world problems.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex insights to non‑technical audiences.
