QA Engineer
Manufacturing Test Engineer responsible for designing, building, and executing automated test systems for server, storage, and networking hardware using Python, Bash, and custom electronics to ensure product quality and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test hardware and fixtures for server, storage, and networking products.
- Write and maintain Python, Bash, and Shell scripts to generate product‑specific test plans and execute test processes.
- Integrate custom electronics, instrumentation, and calibration procedures into manufacturing test flows.
- Perform functional, RMA, and failure analysis testing to identify root causes and recommend design improvements.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to optimize test coverage and throughput.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting for test automation.
- Hands‑on experience with custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform calibration and failure analysis.
