Systems Engineer
Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing systems using PLCs, CAD, and Lean principles while integrating SAP PP and automation technologies to improve production efficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program PLC control logic for new and existing production equipment.
- Create and maintain detailed CAD layouts and 3D models of manufacturing cells and workstations.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing tools to identify waste, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement.
- Integrate and support SAP Production Planning modules to ensure accurate scheduling and inventory control.
- Collaborate with automation and robotics teams to design and commission automated solutions.
- Analyze production data to generate performance metrics and recommend process enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, including PLC programming and CAD design.
- Proficiency with Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) and experience implementing continuous improvement projects.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP PP or similar ERP production modules.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, and automation teams.
