Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and automation systems, leveraging PLC programming, CAD, and Lean Six Sigma to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing systems and automation solutions to support high‑volume production.
- Implement PLC and SCADA programming, ensuring reliable operation and integration with enterprise data systems.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve process throughput.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product specifications, validate designs, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Analyze production data, generate performance metrics, and recommend data‑driven improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering or automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
