About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end manufacturing solutions that incorporate Coherent Distributed Networks and cloud platforms.
- Design, model, and validate production line layouts using CAD tools and simulation software.
- Develop and integrate PLC and industrial IoT firmware to enable real‑time monitoring and control.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system scalability, reliability, and security across multiple facilities.
- Define technical standards, documentation, and best practices for manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing manufacturing systems for high‑tech or defense products.
- Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and industrial IoT protocols.
- Strong CAD modeling skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and experience with system simulation.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud services such as AWS for data ingestion, analytics, and remote monitoring.
