Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated manufacturing equipment, integrating robotics, PLC control, and AI-driven process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems to support modular building production.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMI interfaces, and control logic for seamless integration with factory floor operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define equipment specifications, performance metrics, and safety standards.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
- Utilize CAD and simulation tools to model equipment layouts, validate designs, and support rapid prototyping.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment design, automation, and robotics.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a focus on process optimization and reliability engineering.
