Manufacturing Controls/Automation Engineer - Flex N Gate
QA Engineer
Design, program, and support manufacturing control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic automation, to improve production efficiency and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and commission PLC logic for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Design and maintain HMI/SCADA interfaces to monitor and control production processes.
- Integrate robotic cells and motion control systems into the manufacturing line.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience with PLC platforms (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and related programming environments.
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA tools such as FactoryTalk, Wonderware, or Ignition.
- Knowledge of robotics integration, motion control, and industrial networking protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on manufacturing efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
