Software Engineer
Quality Assurance Engineer focused on manual testing of web and SaaS applications, driving test strategy, defect management, and release readiness using JIRA and TestRail.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive manual test cases for web and SaaS products.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and customer success teams to identify defects and validate fixes.
- Maintain and update test plans, test scripts, and defect logs in JIRA and TestRail.
- Analyze test results, report trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2–5 years of hands‑on manual testing experience in web and SaaS environments.
- Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
