About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust statistical, mathematical, and machine‑learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Lead a team of data scientists, providing technical mentorship, code reviews, and best‑practice guidance.
- Collaborate with engineering and technology groups to define data, tooling, and environment requirements for analytical solutions.
- Produce high‑quality, well‑documented code and model artifacts, ensuring reproducibility and maintainability.
- Communicate model insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating technical results into actionable business strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade machine‑learning models.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Deep knowledge of statistical modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of data scientists.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex analytical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
