Lead the design, implementation, and governance of AI-driven data platforms on AWS, focusing on Redshift, data lake architecture, and compliance to enable scalable analytics and machine‑learning solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage AI‑enabled data platforms on AWS, including Redshift clusters, data lake storage, and related services.
- Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies across the analytics ecosystem.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable machine‑learning pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Drive performance optimization, cost management, and reliability of data workloads.
- Mentor and lead a cross‑functional team, fostering best practices in data engineering and AI development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating data platforms on AWS, with deep knowledge of Redshift and data lake services.
- Strong background in data governance, security, and regulatory compliance for large‑scale analytics environments.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and building/maintaining machine‑learning pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects end‑to‑end.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with a focus on translating business needs into technical solutions.
