Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full systems engineering lifecycle for high‑impact defense projects, from concept through delivery.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in requirements capture, architecture design, and integration testing.
- Implement and maintain configuration management and change control processes to meet stringent security and quality standards.
- Drive risk assessment, mitigation planning, and compliance with Secret clearance and defense regulations.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring iterative progress and stakeholder alignment.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
- 10% travel required.
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience in a defense or aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, configuration management, and cybersecurity principles.
- Proven leadership in Agile or hybrid project management frameworks.
