Lead a high‑performing engineering team focused on building and scaling LinkedIn’s development infrastructure, driving cloud adoption, CI/CD automation, and container orchestration to enable rapid, reliable product delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers building scalable infrastructure for LinkedIn’s global platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud‑native services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, tooling, and best practices across multiple product teams.
- Architect and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and related ecosystem tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and prioritize infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on infrastructure and operations.
- Proven leadership in building and scaling cloud‑based systems at scale.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
