Software Engineer
Lead a high‑impact security engineering team to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud‑native solutions using AWS, DevSecOps practices, and continuous threat monitoring.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the security engineering team in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
- Drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle, integrating automated security testing, code analysis, and container hardening into CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee incident response and threat hunting activities, coordinating cross‑functional teams to investigate, remediate, and document security incidents.
- Manage vulnerability management programs, including scanning, risk assessment, and remediation prioritization for production and development environments.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to develop secure design reviews, threat models, and security architecture guidelines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub) and container security.
- Proven track record of implementing DevSecOps pipelines and automating security controls.
- Strong knowledge of incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business domains.
